USNSCC
Houston Division Welcomes You
Honor, Respect, Commitment, and Service.
Sea Cadets are young men and women aged 10 to 18. We are supported by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, and our Cadets train on naval bases and other military installations.

Mission Statement
A Distinct Identity
The mission of the Sea Cadets is to build leaders of character.
Our culture stresses self discipline, service to others, accountability, and patriotism. At young ages, our cadets are given leadership opportunities by staffing summer training events, planning unit drill sessions, and teaching others.
While our cadets gain an appreciation for the sea services and military life, there is no requirement to join the military. Many former cadets enlist, and dozens attend service academies or ROTC. Cadets who complete our “recruit training” are well prepared for the rigors of boot camp or officer indoctrination.
We work hard to get our efforts noticed by the media and are so proud when this goal comes to fruition. Take a look at some of our latest coverage and help spread the word about all the amazing developments at USNSCC Houston Division.
